Funded by URA, Kam Wah held two elder-friendly workshops at Yan Chai Hospital Ng Wong Yee Man Neighbourhood Elderly Centre and Kowloon City Themed Walking Trail Information Centre in To Kwa Wan on 29 February and 8 March, 2024 respectively. There were all together 30 elders joined the workshops. The elders were very engaged and asked questions actively in the workshops. Moreover, they were interested in the elder-friendly design and products that we introduced, and they also shared with us the difficulties they encountered at home. Through these workshops, we hope that the awareness of home safety and aging in place can increase among the elderly.
